Healing begins in safe space and so our organization centers spiritual, psychological, and emotional wellness, creating programs that provide beneficiaries with access to holistic treatments such as equine therapy.

Our Equine Assisted Wellness programs (EAW), encourages beneficiaries to build trust and confidence side by side with horses. Our program is supervised by experienced mental health professionals, horse trainers, and other equine specialist.

Available to children and adults, EAW has been show to support beneficiaries who have several mental health diagnosis, including ADD/HD, PTSD, CPTSD, depression, and other disorders. It is reported that interacting with the horses and successfully meeting challenges together can improve self esteem and ease anxiety in those who have practiced equine therapy1.

Beneficiaries are encouraged to work through triggers, anxiety, and stress as they bond with their equine partner, while engaging in simple tasks such as grooming, feeding, learning to walk alongside, and lead the horses. Beneficiaries are then encouraged to reflect on their time and experiences as they build trust and learn interact calmly with their equine partners.
